The Feldman Firm, LLC is proud to serve as local counsel to the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce ( and the National Association for Female Executives ( in their capacity as Amici Curiae in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Trump, et al., a lawsuit brought by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey seeking to block proposed Trump administration rules that would allow employers to opt out of providing health insurance coverage for contraception if they oppose its use on moral or religious grounds.

On January 7, 2019, The Feldman Firm, LLC, along with Leah R. Bruno, Esq. of Dentons US LLP, which serves as primary counsel for USWCC and NAFE in litigation involving the contraceptive mandate of the Affordable Care Act, filed a Brief in support of Pennsylvania’s and New Jersey’s requested relief.

As a result of this successful injunction action, the contraceptive mandate in the Affordable Care Act remains unchanged. The matter is now the subject of an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
